Tonya Leduc - B.Sc. (Honours), B.Ed. (Distinction), OCT, MBATD, Teaching Member of the CCA
Tonya Leduc started dance at the age of three and went on to enter both the fields of dance and academics with a strong background in both. Not only did she enter the professional dance landscape at the age of 15 but also continued dancing through her school career as well while gathering titles and awards as a competitive dancer both in Canada and abroad.
Tonya's professional career includes features in music videos, national and international television commercial campaigns, touring with several North American touring companies and cruise lines and has been featured in major motion pictures for companies such as Paramount Pictures and HBO Entertainment.
While furthering her dance career, Tonya attended the University of Toronto she served as a resident dance instructor while completing an Honours degree in Cell & Molecular Biology. She then continued onto The University of Western Ontario where she holds a Bachelor of Education degree with Distinction and is a certified member of the Ontario College of Teachers.
Tonya is also a Member of the British Association of Teachers of Dancing and a Teaching Member of the Cecchetti Council of America. She is also an accomplished competitive dance adjudicator, which allows her to bring the best training of dance to her students here at Elite. Her students have gone on to win numerous titles and awards in both the United States and Canada with some going on to operate dance studios of their own.

Rob Leduc - B.A., B.A. (Honours), B.Ed., OCT, Teaching Member of CCA
Rob started dance at an early age and has since earned numerous titles and awards as both a dancer and a choreographer. Entering into professional dance at the age of 16, Robert has balanced a University career earning three separate university level degrees while continuing to grow and develop in the field of dance.
Rob's professional career includes featured dance work with various industrial publicity campaigns, theme parks and production companies. He spent many years as a dance instructor at University of Windsor and has is a master teacher teaching workshops for dancers in Canada and the United States. As a choreographer he is well sought after throughout the Ontario dance scene, having taught at dozens of studios across the province and abroad. He has trained extensively on dance scholarships in both New York and Los Angeles, and toured worldwide through contract dance positions with various cruise lines and production companies.
Rob attended the University of Windsor earning an Honours degree in Drama in Education, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He then continued on to The University of Western Ontario where he holds a Bachelor of Education degree and is a certified member of the Ontario College of Teachers. Rob excels as both secular school teacher and dance teacher and is also a teaching member of the Cecchetti Council of America.
Rob continues to train students of all ages, and has dancers who have gone on to win national level titles and scholarships of their own. He is also a professional adjudicator, which allows him to remain on the cutting edge of dance techniques and initiatives.

Andrea Stafford - Professional Advanced Certified Fellow of the CCA, DMA
Andrea grew up in Windsor where she had a stellar professional career. A former member of the Detroit West Ballet, Andrea now dedicates her time to the development of a new group of enthusiastic ballet students.
Andrea holds an Advanced Certified Fellowship with the Cecchetti Council of America and is one of only two teachers in Canada to hold this distinction. She is also a teaching member of the Dance Masters of America. A master choreographer and teacher, Andrea also trains students at her home studio in Windsor, which has been creating fantastic dancers for many years. Her choreography has won many awards in competition and performance and her students have gone on to train and dance with the National Ballet of Canada and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet.
Andrea is also currently on faculty with the St. Clair College Arts Department as the resident dance instructor and is the resident choreographer for many Southern Ontario musical productions.

Paige Murray - B.Sc. (Nurs.), R.N., ABATD - Classical Ballet, Stage, Modern Dance
Paige is an Associate Member of the British Association of Teachers of Dance in Ballet, Stage and Modern. She holds a B.Sc. from the University of New Brunswick and is currently finishing a post-degree certification in Nutrition at Ryerson University in Toronto.
She is currently the resident choreographer at several studios in the Toronto area and is a much sought after teacher and professional choreographer. As a competitive dancer, Paige won many awards as both a soloist and in groups in all forms of dance, but always excelled at Hip Hop. Paige continues to perform in the Toronto area in numerous productions in her spare time.
Paige is a versatile performer and her contagious energy in the classroom makes her students eager and enthusiastic to learn.

Elite Dance Centre hosted its 8th annual Competitive Showcase on Sunday, February 5th! Excellent work, boys and girls, you looked great! We are so proud of you! Here we go, one month countdown to competition, let's keep it up!
EDC MOVIE NIGHT- January 21, 2012: What a great night! Thank you to Ms. Melanie and all the volunteers who helped out organizing the movie night. An extra special thank you goes to Fanshawe College for donating the popcorn machine! Popcorn, treats, movies, jammies and friends - we couldn't have asked for a better event!
Congratulations to all the students who completed their BATD Dance Examinations on Sunday, December 18! Fantastic scores, great performances - really well done, boys and girls! Enjoy the holiday break - you've earned it!
What a magical night! Thanks to all the volunteers who helped make the "Santa Claus Parade: Cookies and Cheer" such a great time! All the cookies, hot cocoa, festive treats made for a great celebration of the upcoming holiday season! Thanks so much!
WOW-EE! Best Halloween party ever! "The Enchanted Forest" was a huge success! Everyone had such amazing costumes, parents too! Thanks to all the volunteers and organizers who made this event so extra special, treats and tricks galore! What a fun time!
